Signs of Progress

Today we had our pre-construction meeting for the new house!!!  It is finally starting to feel real!  We got to meet our construction manager, discuss what trees we want cleared off the lot, and he staked off where our driveway will be.  If the weather holds out, the trees will hopefully come down next week!  Too bad there is a lot of rain in the forecast...fingers crossed they are wrong!!  Our next steps are to set up appointments with the cabinet company and then the design center!  It made this meeting a little less stressful since I found out yesterday that I get to keep my job through the restructuring of the company!
