B's Thanksgiving Feast

Braelyn's class had a feast in their classroom to kickoff the Thanksgiving holidays.  They were all so cute in their pilgrim and Indian costumes they had made.  As soon as her feast was over, I checked both girls out so we could finish getting everything together to head to Grandma and Papa's!

The kids love listening to stories so Mrs. Tworek read them a Thanksgiving book while the parents set up the feast.

Cutest little Indian I've ever seen!
Of course, Miss B has to include a picture of the cross!

Lemonade for Sale!

Emerson has been dying to have a lemonade stand for over a year.  She and Braelyn have had posters made and waiting for the day that I gave them the go ahead.  I finally picked a day and after I picked them up from school we made our lemonade and loaded up the wagon with everything to make a perfect lemonade stand.  I checked with the family at the end of our street to see if we could set up on the corner, as I didn't think the back of the cul-de-sac was our best bet for getting a lot of traffic.  Before we could even get set up, people were stopping to buy!  We were only out for less than an hour since it started getting dark but Emerson made $16!  She paid her sister a few dollars for helping too!

How could anybody pass up these cuties??!!

Bender's Beach

People have told us ever since we moved into the Bender's Landing Estates neighborhood that there was an amazing beach in the neighborhood along Spring Creek.  We thought they were exaggerating and that there was no way there could be a beach.  Well, we went for the first time today and couldn't believe what we saw...beautiful white sand!  The girls had so much fun playing in it with Braelyn's friend Caylee.  Her parents said that it looked worse now than it has in the past because of the flooding during Harvey.  There are so many trees down that are still being cleared but we were amazed by the sand and have no idea how it got there!

Happy Birthday Ellie!

Braelyn's American Girl doll Ellie celebrated a birthday today!  Any birthday has to have cake and balloon's and Ellie's was no different!  I love seeing the smiles on these sweet girls' faces when we have fun days like this!

I had the party set up to surprise them when they got home from school.

Braelyn was SO excited!

Grase and Em were happy to celebrate with the birthday girl too!

Yummy cupcakes!
