Hey Batter, Batter!

This time of year not too long ago I would be watching Shawn coach his Montgomery Bears on pitching and hitting.  This year I am so blessed to be watching him do the same with his two sweet girls who adore him.  Emerson has never shown any interest in anything having to do with a ball but over the last week Shawn has worked with her on hitting and she has actually seemed to enjoy it.  Braelyn's favorite thing in the world is playing ball.  She loves catching and throwing and even loves sitting with Daddy to watch any kind of ball game.  The other day we were driving down the interestate and she started yelling "ball, ball!!!".  I finally saw a billboard with a football player on it!  Tonight was such a great night watching Daddy and his girls while we cooked out.

Good throw!

Camera Happy

Most days when we get home, the girls and I head out to the backyard to play.  On our way out yesterday I realized that I hardly ever take pictures anymore and apparently tried to fix that all in a one hour time span...I went a little camera crazy!  They are just so stinkin' cute I couldn't help myself!!

Hey Mom! Watch this!

Funny Faces

We lowered Braelyn's swing so now Emerson can push her-obviously Braelyn loves the change!

They play so well together, I love watching them!

For Braelyn, the higher it goes and the faster it spins the better!

My sweet girl is creeping up on 2 years old!!!!

Braelyn tries to do EVERYTHING Emerson does.  When we have babysitters, she makes them nervous wrecks!

Wheeeeee!

The rope ladder is typically where the babysitters draw the line for Braelyn!  When it is us, we have to stop her from going all the way past Emerson to the top rung!

Aww man, the wagon is all dirty!

On your mark, get set, go!  I can't get over how much taller and thinner she is getting!

Wait for me!!!  Can I get a  head start next time?!

While she still hardly has any hair, check out her ringlets in the back!

I love this picture!  We are so thankful that in recent months, this is her mood most of the time!

Such a big helper, sweeping up the mulch Maggie had dug out of the flower bed.

Such a pretty, grown-up little girl!

Good Times at Gransan's!

While I was gone for the week, the girls had so much fun on the farm.  They rode 4-wheelers, went to the playground and the mall, and any other little thing they wanted!!!  Unfortunately, as always, we managed to get everybody sick!  By the time I got back on Friday, Emerson had a ruptured ear drum and Gransan, Patsy, and Janet had all caught her cold!  On Saturday morning Gransan drove us back to Houston where out first stop was the doctor's office to pick up antibiotics for Emerson!  We appreciate all everybody did during the week and hope everybody gets to feeling better soon!

The girls love to cuddle together in the morning!

Gransan traced Emerson with sidewalk chalk...

she looked over and Braelyn had dropped to the ground ready for her turn!

I love Janet's strategy for keeping Braelyn out of the water!

I think this is my new favorite picture!

Gransan must have been really tired by this point!
