Summer Fun with Miss Amber

This summer Miss Amber, one of the girls' old teachers from First Kids was able to babysit for us.  She was AMAZING!!  She kept the girls super busy, doing fun things every day with them.  They spent a lot of time at the library, park, indoor playgrounds, swimming, and the list goes on!  Thanks Miss Amber!!

They happened up on a free carnival with a petting zoo on a trip to the library.

No carnival would be complete without face painting!

The snake freaked Em out but B actually touched it!!  No chance we would have even gone close if I was there!

Fun trip to Incredible Pizza

They went to a presentation at the library, I believe it was about bugs...Em looks pretty nervous!

Em and Miss Amber being silly while B was at ballet.

Riding the trolley by the mall or as Em calls it...The Charley!

Having fun at the Rob Fleming water park.

Vacation Bible School

The girls attended VBS at First for the first time this year and had an awesome time.  It was every morning and then Amber would pick them up and spend the afternoon with them.  They got to wear their swimsuits under their clothes everyday and play on inflatable water slides at the end of the day for awhile.  The week ended with Family Night where we had a worship service in the sanctuary singing all the songs they had been singing during the week and then headed outside for more waterslide fun and food trucks.

Each grade level was assigned a color.  Each day they could donate change in their color robot's box for charity.

Family night service...we did all the dance moves for every song!

Wheeeeeee!!!!!!

The bubble pit was a definite crowd favorite!

Long Awaited Celebration

Braelyn asked from the moment everybody arrived at our house when it was going to be time to celebrate her birthday.  The time finally arrived on Saturday and she was beyond excited!  It meant the world to her to have so many here to celebrate her.  We had lots of food, presents, and of course cupcakes!  We brought out all the Ariel pool party decorations and made a day of it.  Happy Birthday Miss B!

Happy Birthday to you!

No Brooks birthday would be complete without cake in the face!

Too cute for words!

Get it off Daddy!!!

Our big 6 year old

Audrey seemed a little unsure about the cupcake at first...

but I think she definitely came to love them!
