Another Amazing Year Complete!

I say it ever year, but I can't believe it is already the last day of school!  The years just keep flying by!  The girls did amazing yet again-both had straight A's for the entire year as well as all E's for conduct.  I wasn't surprised at all!  We are so very proud of them both.  To celebrate the end of the year, the Collins crew came over for a little pizza party after school.

Mrs. Tworek made the kids fun gift buckets to kick off summer fun.

So very proud of my soon to be 2nd grader!

What a pair!

She got an award for the all A honor roll and the Awesome Author award for her awesome storytelling.

Em had a great 3rd grade year with Mrs. Maxwell.

This girl is going to rock 4th grade next year!

4 years in the same class...will it be 5???

She got the award for all A honor roll and the 100 Grand Award for being great with all things numbers related.  Perfect for my little math whiz!

I am so ready for a fun summer with these 2!

Pizza time!

So thankful for such sweet friends!

Thanks Gransan!

Gransan helped to make our getaway possible.  She came down to hang out with the girls for a few days, getting them to school on Thursday and Friday and then playing over the long weekend.  From the sounds of things they had LOTS of fun too!

B lost a tooth while we were gone!  She looked so different when we got home!

Bon Voyage!

Shawn and I have been wanting a getaway for just the two of us for awhile.  We decided that a cruise would be a great choice and managed to find one out of Galveston Memorial Day weekend so we wouldn't have to take any more than 2 days off work.  We were supposed to make a stop in Cozumel but thanks to a tropical storm, we felt the boat make a turn on Friday afternoon and learned that we were heading to Progresso instead.  I do not recommend making a trip to Progresso-we did not enjoy it at all but it honestly didn't matter because we were perfectly content just relaxing on the boat!  We had so much fun going to the different shows on the boat, eating lots of ice cream, sleeping in and taking naps!  It was a perfect getaway!

Ready to set sail!  The smiles say it all...we have been counting down to a fun few days of relaxation!

Are ship is the one on the right when we made our stop in Progresso.  With 2 ships there at once(our's was not expected), there were SO many people!

On the beach in Progresso, during our very short excursion off the boat!

Late Celebration

Because of Em's choir performance, we weren't able to go for Audrey's 2nd birthday so we drove up a couple weeks after to celebrate.  It is so hard to believe she is already 2!  We were so excited to get to see Uncle Russ and Aunt Sissy's new house too.  It is so pretty!  While the guys went out and played golf on Saturday, Aunt Sissy and I took the girls to The Crayola Experience which was awesome!  There are tons of stations for them to create things with crayons, a play area, food, and a store.  We had a big day and everybody had a blast!

Happy Birthday Audrey!

These 2 are pretty inseparable!  Em is a great babysitter!

Making their first creation-a car shaped crayon.

Braelyn's Spin Art

It was neat to see how different each person's spin art turned out.

3 little fashion designers coloring dresses that would turn into....

 a virtual fashion show!

Zappy

Emerson was part of the children's choir at church this year.  Every year they put on a production in May for the congregation.  Typically the parts are reserved for the 5th and 6th graders since it is the last years for them to participate and the remaining kids are in the choir.  Knowing this, and after not getting a part after working so hard last year, Emerson was still set on trying out and determined to get the part of Zappy.  She did amazing at the audition and blew everyone away!  She got the part she wanted!!  We were beyond proud of her and could not wait for tonight's performance!  I had gotten to see her audition but she had wanted everything to be a surprise for Shawn so he was even more ready than me to see what she had been working so hard on.  Gransan and Patsy were able to come down and Emerson wanted Sofia to see her big night as Zappy too.  She did SO good and looked adorable!

Cutie Pie at dress rehearsal

They performed one of their songs in each of the morning services to get the word out about the performance.

Zappy and Deletor in their places!

She was so nervous but delivered her lines without a single bobble!

Very relieved and relaxed at the end of the performance!

The 3 of us could not have been more proud of Zappy!

Sofia was so glad to be there too.

Thanks for being her Gransan….

and Patsy!!

I love this picture of the sweet sisters!
