S'Mores

Daddy treated the girls to "indoor S'Mores" tonight. They loved them...and so did we!!!  Shawn is always so good about doing fun things like this with the girls and I love him for it!

Sunday Surprise

When the girls got up this morning we told them we had a big surprise for them.  We have been visiting a lot of new churches lately looking for one closer to the new house so they really didn't suspect anything when we pulled up to another new one.  When we got inside Jon and Dondi were sitting there saving seats for us!  The girls were beyond excited and they didn't even know the full surprise yet.  We were all there because Bailey was part of a drama group that was performing at different churches for 2 weeks.  We were so excited to hear that one of the stops was The Woodlands!  She did amazing!  What an amazing girl she is growing up to be!  I wish we could have spent more time with her but at least we were able to go to lunch with Jon and Dondi before they headed to her next performance in Dallas!

Waffles for Dinner?!

I have always loved having breakfast for dinner.  When Shawn and I couldn't decide what we wanted for dinner tonight, we asked Em what she wanted and without hesitation she said "Waffles!!".  She got no argument from us and we wasted no time loading up and heading for Waffle House!

Grandma and Papa are Here!!!

The girls always look forward to visits with Grandma and Papa and this time was no different.  They asked for days before they arrived if it was the day we got to go pick them up at the airport!  Poor Grandma and Papa were stuck with no car but that didn't stop them!  They made several trips down to Chick-fil-a and Target!  I always love getting the pictures of their adventures from Papa-thank you Papa!  Thank y'all for being here to make sweet Braelyn's 3rd birthday perfect!

A bedtime story with Grandma from their new book the night they got here.

Being silly modeling their new clothes that Grandma and Papa brought.

Leave it to B-she found those little foam adhesive strips somewhere in the store and stuck them to her ankle and forehead.

Snowcone time!

What is better on a hot day than a snowcone?

Braelyn Faith is 3!!!

Our little Miss B turned 3 today and has been telling anyone who would listen for weeks that this day was coming!  She is always saying that she is "getting big like Mommy".  The funny thing is she is still so tiny but love her little heart she has a big personality!  She loves playing dress up and not just one tutu will do.  She layers as many as she can fit on her little body and completes the look with bows, clips, shoes, necklaces, and anything else she can come up with.  She loves playing hide and seek with Emerson and actually gets the concept of staying quiet when hiding even better than her sister.  It is adorable to hear her count when Em is the one hiding and yelling "ready or not here I come!"  Em has to hide fast because we barely get to 5 each time!  You never know what she is going to get into next-things we never dreamed of "babyproofing" with Emerson, this one will get into in a heartbeat!  She has definitely come out of her shell and is not nearly as shy around new people as she used to be.  It still may take her a little bit to warm up but she does usually come around.  She goes to speech therapy every Monday at 4 and loves her therapist.  She has made a lot of progress since starting in March and it has done wonders for helping with the frustration, for her and us, of not being able to understand her.  She says the funniest things now.  The lastest one is "Wow, that's good"!  Her favorite movies are Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, and Frozen and she can sing pretty much all of the songs!  She is 29 pounds and 35 inches tall.  Her height was definitely low on the scale but the nurse practitioner explained that 3 and 4 is when genetics starts to kick in so it may just be in her genes to be a little shorter!  She isn't the best eater so she suggested a multi-vitamin with iron every day to make sure that she is getting all she needs but otherwise she got a great check-up!

Acting silly showing off her "3"!

How could this not make you smile every single day?!

Party Like a 3 Year Old!

Our sweet Braelyn turned 3 today!!!!!  She has been waiting for this day for weeks, practicing daily on showing people with her fingers that she is now 3!  While I love going all out on a theme and having everybody at the house, it wasn't in the cards this year since we put our house on the market this past Monday.  We didn't want to run the risk of having a showing right in the middle of celebrating so we decided to have the party at Incredible Pizza-the birthday girl was thrilled!  We didn't tell her where we were going and she was super excited when we got there.  We had so much fun getting to spend the day with Grandma, Papa, Gransan, Janet, Jordan, and Jenna.  There were LOTS of games played and several trips to the prize counter to cash in tickets!  A fun day for a fun birthday girl.  She keeps us smiling all the time with her fun little personality!  We love you Braelyn Faith!

Big Sister and the Birthday Girl are ready to party!

Her cupcakes turned out super cute!

Look at that smile!  She is so excited about a day all about her!

Nothing better than being surrounded by people we love!

So happy to be celebrating with the best Daddy ever!

Our incredibly happy family helping our tiniest member have a memorable day!

When it came time to sing, she sang to herself too!

For not really caring much about sweets, she dug in!

Em was mesmerized by the movie that they had on!

One of the cutest things ever...having a party blower battle with Daddy and giggling like crazy!

Time for PRESENTS!!!!!

It is rare that we actually know something that B is wanting but she has been telling us for weeks that she wanted Lambie for her birthday!

Mrs. Potato Head!!!  Thank you Gransan!!

It was hilarious...she took her time and read every card before opening her presents!

ANA!!!!  Grandma and Papa, I love her!!!

Em and Jordan-it was such a good surprise that Jordan and Jenna got to come!

Not B's best picture but she was so happy Janet got to come!

So cute getting her tattoo with her flower balloon!

A perfect tattoo for our oldest princess!

Everyone in the near vicinity of Skee Ball was in danger when B and Em played...their balls did NOT stay in their lane!
