Aqua Tots

After a couple of runs at finding good swim lessons for the girls, I think we may have finally done it.  They started at Aqua Tots on Tuesday and it really seems like it is going to be great.  They are in the same class for now and will be going two days a week.  Since it is an indoor facility, we can go year round if we choose to.  I think the consistency will definitely help them to gain their confidence...and help Mommy and Daddy relax a little bit when they are around the water!!!  I was a little nervous about how Braelyn was going to do since this was her first time for lessons and she is not always completely comfortable with new people.  Boy, did I have it wrong!  She went right on in and LOVED it!!!  I think it definitely helped that her sister was in the class and helped the teacher understand her baby sister!  Braelyn was so relaxed in the water and not afraid to do anything they asked, including trying to jump off the side before the teacher was ready!  That was hilarious because they were having trouble getting some of the older kids to do it at all!  The pictures aren't great since they were taken through the glass but I was just so thankful to be able to take pictures and this facility!

Playing while waiting for their names to be called

Listening very carefully to their teacher

When one of the little girls was practicing her kicks, B got splashed right in the face!

Emerson was so cute looking out for Braelyn!

B did not even hesitate when it was her turn!

I didn't do a very good job of catching it but Em had the biggest smile every time she came towards the window where I was sitting.

Em practicing floating on her back

B got very relaxed with her floating...look at her arm tucked behind her head like she is just laying in bed!

The teacher told me at the end that she was pretty shocked that B sat perfectly still on the ledge when she was waiting for her turn.  She said she was a little nervous when she saw how old B was-definitely the youngest of the group!
