Happy Easter!

We had a somewhat crazy Easter weekend.  I had to leave on Easter Sunday to go out of town for work.  The girls were going to be staying with my mom the week I was gone so I had arranged to fly out of Shreveport.  We did not want to split up the family for Easter so Shawn drove with us to Shreveport on Good Friday and spent the weekend with us.  Friday we played hard on the farm and ate Momma's favorite for dinner-Johnny's Pizza!!!  On Saturday we went shopping, Daddy was looking for new shoes.  We lucked out because a major storm was hitting Shreveport that day.  We kind of got caught by it as we were stopping at our last store but as we later learned we definitely missed the worst of it.  On the drive back to the farm we saw hail piled up like huge snow drifts and then on the drive to church on Sunday we saw a trampoline flipped up on a house, the roof of a metal building blown across a major street and an 18-wheeler on it's side!  Saturday evening we had crawfish with Jon, Dondi, Nate and Bailey and then went up and decorated eggs with Shell, Jordan and Jenna.  On Sunday we went to church and then to Jerry and Janet's for an Easter feast and egg hunt.  The egg hunt had to be moved inside since it poured down rain on Easter morning too.  After lunch Daddy headed back to Houston, I headed to the airport and the girls stayed on the farm!

Too cute!  She fell asleep on the way to The Boardwalk for shopping.  It was hilarious because she NEVER keeps on her headphones and she NEVER sleeps in the car!  Never say never!
