We had recently been talking about how great it has been that nobody in our house had been sick in months...famous last words! Braelyn has had a snotty nose for a few days and when she came in to wake me up Friday morning, I knew instantly she had a fever. She normally feels like a little ice cube crawling in bed with me in the mornings, not this time! We were able to get in to the doctor first thing and after some blood work he narrowed it down to a bacterial upper respiratory infection. Thankfully her ears looked good, tubes were still in place, and despite what her cough sounded like her chest sounded fine.

| Today we finally let her venture outside. Amazing how a little fresh air can lift your spirits! |
