Christmas Countdown Begins!

Last year we started a new tradition of a Christmas countdown and it is so much fun.  When the girls wake up in the morning they can't wait to open the bag of the day.  Some days it is just a little toy or candy, other days a clue for something we are going to do that night.  I think the clues are the girls' favorites...they spend all day trying to figure it out!  My favorite might be the day they get their angels from the angel tree and we shop for them that day after school.  We pick 2 little girls they same age as Em and B to help them relate to the fact that not every kid has the same kind of holiday that they do.  I am so proud of them for how much this day means to them and how much they talk about the 2 girls even after we have turned in the gifts.  This year we were blessed to shop for Claudia and Elianna and they will be in our prayers for a long time to come.
