I have been meaning to post this for awhile but kept forgetting. Every morning before school the girls and I do a Veggie Tales devotional book that Grandma gave them and pray to get the day started right. On one particular day a couple of months ago, the devotional was about Heaven and how wonderful it will be. It is beautiful with streets of gold, there will be no sadness or hurting, etc.
When Emerson prayed that day...
"Dear God, if things get kind of bad at school today, can you take me to Heaven just for a little while and then let me come back?"
I think we may have missed something in how it all works! I am not sure that Heaven just has visiting hours! If so, I might want to join in!
