The Countdown Continues!

The girls crack me up in the morning with opening the bags.  They have gotten used to waiting for me to get my camera, knowing that Mom has to capture every moment!  I have tried this year to incorporate as many things as possible to remind them of the true meaning of Christmas and I love that they are just as excited about those bags as the ones that have a toy!

They got a pin to put on their backpacks with a picture of the nativity.

What is it B??!!!

Activity books

Marshmallows!!

Marshmallows were a clue for going to Starbucks for hot chocolate after school-thankfully it was finally cold enough!

A candle

They were a little stumped by the candle...they thought it was just because we were celebrating Daddy's birthday.

They were part right...it was a birthday celebration but instead of Daddy, we made a cake to remember that Christmas is about Jesus' birth.

Of course you have to lick the beaters!

Yum!

Merry Christmas!
