De-stress

We have all been under so much stress trying to get the house sold, the house built, the 5 year old in kingergarted, and the 3 year old scheduled for surgery...it was time for a break for everybody!  We had originally planned on the girls spending a week with Gransan while we got moved in to the new house.  Unfortunately, the move in date got moved back so far that that wouldn't work because Em was going to need to be in town for Meet the Teacher night and the Lil' Stallion Social.  Everybody(the girls and everybody on the farm) was going to be so disappointed if they missed out on the trip all together so we decided it would be a nice break for everybody.  I think the girls were sick of us packing and constantly going to the new house to check on things.  Not to mention we probably haven't been too patient lately given how stressed we have been so they were most likely thrilled to get a break from us!!  Shawn and I got to sleep in and have no responsibilities for a few days and it helped SO much!

Gransan always has chocolate chip cookies waiting for the girls when they come.  Since she met me halfway to pick them up, the girls got to help make the cookies when they got there!
