All About Miss B

It dawned on me that aside from details here and there on previous posts, I haven't done an update on our sweet Miss B in quite a while.  SHE IS SO MUCH FUN!!!  She is such a sweet, loving little girl that has a bit of a fiery side too.  She is also quite the kidder, loving to pick on everybody for a laugh.  She is VERY independent.  If anybody does something for her, she undoes whatever it was and does it herself.  At times when we are in a hurry I will pick her up and put her in her car seat.  Before I can grab the straps to get her buckled in, she slides out and climbs back up all by herself!  She is definitely starting to say more words and is always asking "What's that?".  She is still not putting together many phrases but a few new things in her vocabulary that crack us up are:  "Got you!", "Eeeew, nasty!", "Aw, man!", and "Oh no!".  She works really hard at saying "Emerson" but ususally resorts to "Sissy".  This week we have jumped into potty training.  We really weren't planning on doing it until I had some time off for the holidays but she decided otherwise.  She started taking herself to the potty!  She has been doing great.  I am not really sure why but she seems to do better at school than at home but if I remember right Emerson did the same thing at first.  Also this week, we decided to give dairy another try with her and so far so good.  We will be so happy if she is able to have it now-it is pretty hard for a family who likes to put cheese on everything to incorporate a lactose intolerant family member!  She LOVES to sing.  Anytime we are in the car she immediately says "Music" and she sings along with every song.  She knows her ABCs and counts to 10.  She just started taking Spanish at school which is absolutely hilarious to me-we still have major work to do on English!!!  At this point if she can communicate what she wants to us, I'll take whatever language it comes in!  She is slowly but surely getting more hair and it is still very curly!  Almost daily somebody at her school tells me what a sweetheart she is and what a good helper she is.  We love this little one to pieces!!!!
