Happy Birthday Braelyn Faith!!

Today our sweet Braelyn Faith turned 2!  She is such a fun little girl to be around.  Just over the last week she has started trying to talk more.  She loves to help me around the house and if I ask her to go put something in her room she will come running back saying "Did it!" wanting a high 5!  She says "there it is", "got it", "momma", "daddy", "sissy", and "bubble", just to name a few.  I am not too sure if other people can understand her but it is progress!  She can jump, run pretty fast, stand on one foot, and climb on just about anything.  She has learned how to open doors which presents a bit of a challenge and is doing great sleeping in her big girl bed.  She doesn't like TV nearly as much as her sister but loves to read books.  She also LOVES music and does not want to listen to anything in the car other than her children's CDs.  She "sings" along to every song!  Unfortunately we have had a rough go of it with a constant ear infection ever since the tube in her left ear fell out so she is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday to have a new set of tubes put in and her adenoids taken out.  Grandma and Papa came in town Monday night to help her celebrate her birthday and on her birthday we headed down to our new neighborhood to swim and have a picnic.  More to come on her actual party!

The sweet birthday girl!

Typical Braelyn-every time I got ready to take the picture, she would throw herself backwards to knock herself and her sister over and then crack up laughing!

The birthday girl loves her big sister!

At 2 years old, still pretty much no hair but finally enough to get a rubber band in it!

She had so much fun in the splash pad!

I could just squeeze her!

She loved swimming with Daddy

She thought it was hilarious kicking water in Daddy's face

Fun with big sister

Braelyn, Emerson, Daddy, and Papa had a great time swimming...Momma and Grandma left their suits at home!

I love this picture!!!

Emerson loved our idea for celebrating B's birthday with a picnic and evening at the pool!

The big 4 year old!

Braelyn, Grandma, and Emerson digging in to their sandwiches before we headed to the playground.
