Valentine's Day Prep

I feel like Emerson is already in big kid school...we had homework this weekend!  She was supposed to have a decorated box for her Valentine's Day party and she was also supposed to practice printing her name by way of 15 Valentine cards for her friends.  All of this was supposed to be turned in on Monday, not the day of the party!  While I like the prospect of her starting to take the reigns as far as filling out Valentine cards each year instead of me doing them all, however, everybody knows that a 4 year old just learning to write her name does not exactly write it small enough to fit on the tiny Valentines!  Bless her heart, she did great but had had enough at about number 5.  Did I mention we had to do 15?!  The box decorating was much more fun and little Miss Braelyn had to get in on the action!

Ms. Kathy said shoe box or bag but these little mailboxes were too cute to pass up...plus it was pink!

Braelyn had just woken up from a nap but had no intentions of missing out on this!

How's it looking Mom?

She couldn't wait to show off her finished product...

from every side...

last one!

Now time to get down to business!

Miss B's turn to show off!

I wish I had gotten a better picture...every inch of the inside is covered in stickers too!

I was so proud of Emerson for sticking with it and getting all 15 done perfectly!
