Long Weekend

Shawn and I both had Presidents Day off this year so we decided to take advantage of the extra day and loaded up for a road trip to see Uncle Russ and Aunt Sissy.  We hadn't been to see them since they moved to Garland so we were anxious to get to see their new house...it is SO cute!  It worked out perfect too because Aunt Sissy has to work next weekend and they are going to have to miss Em's party so we did some early celebrating!  On Sunday afternoon while the guys played golf we had a girls' day.  We took advantage of the beautiful weather out at the Firewheel shopping center.  The girls loved it!  Aunt Sissy treated them to not one, but two train rides AND a trip to the Nestle Tollhouse shop...a perfect day in the eyes of 2 and 4 year olds!  Follow that up with Little Mermaid back at the house and it doesn't get much better!

Braelyn was a little nervous about the train when we first got on but ended up loving it!

Braelyn especially liked the music selection on the train...The Wheels on the Bus is one of her all-time favorites!

Emerson saw the pretty pink princess package as soon as we got to Aunt Sissy's house on Saturday and on Sunday night it was finally time!

Uncle Russ, how's it coming getting my sister's gift out of the package?!

Ariel and Prince Eric, how did Aunt Sissy know?!
