Lots of Celebrating

We love birthdays around here and one celebration is just not enough!  I took cupcakes up to the school to celebrate Em's birthday with her classmates.  It was pretty fun because I didn't tell her that I was coming!  Then it wouldn't be a birthday if they didn't sing at Mi Rancho, aka "our favorite place"!

Happy Birthday Sweet Em!

Our sweet Em turned 8 today!  We decided to surprise her for her party and had a celebration at the house after her soccer game.  Em has always been very big about her birthday party and very specific about what she wants.  She has been so cute leading up to the big day because she hasn't asked at all about her party.  When she woke up this morning and realized we were going to her soccer game, she was not happy at all.  She kept saying, "but it's my birthday!"  She had no idea that we most definitely were still having a party.  I left the game a few minutes early to pick up her best friend Sofia and get to the house to make sure everything was ready.  When she got home, there were plenty of soccer decorations, her best friend, and a bounce house!  Shortly after she got there, Gransan, Janet, Dondi, Bailey and Jamie all arrived to help us celebrate too!  We had the best day just getting to relax, spend time together, and celebrate a very special little girl who brings us so much joy each and every day.  We love you sweet girl!

Happy Valentine's Day!

B's ballet class celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday by doing a special dance for the parents and exchanging Valentines.

Me and Daddy's sweet Valentines have definitely stolen our hearts!

Knight in Shining Armor

Our sweet girls are so blessed to have the world's best Daddy.  Both of them have been looking forward to the Daddy Daughter Dance for months!  It is Em's favorite night every year and Miss B has been beside herself that it was finally her year to go too!  They both wanted to look their best for their big night.  Neither wanted Daddy to know anything about what their dresses looked like before the big night and Emerson was very specific about how she wanted to fix her hair.  Daddy always lets them choose what they want for dinner.  The pick was unanimous...McDonald's!!!  We decided their dresses and Daddy's suit might be a little over the top for McDonald's so they decided to go eat and then come home to get ready for the dance.  They had an amazing night at the dance and finished off the evening with hot fudge sundaes at Sonic.  Sounds like the perfect date to me!  Mommy is already busy praying that both girls find somebody as amazing as their Daddy one day.  Nights like this help to show them exactly what they need to be looking for!!
