Texas Literature Cafe

Emerson's 1st grade program was a "Texas" theme and she was so incredibly excited about it.  She has been singing "Deep in the Heart of Texas" for weeks!  It was called a "literature cafe" which actual food wasn't served, just the projects they had been working on.  The night ended with performances by each 1st grade class.  It was so cute!

She made a Texas matching game for me and Daddy to play.

Daddy's girl couldn't wait to show him all her hard work!

Nerves overtook all of that pre-program excitement!  She did great though despite not liking being in front of a lot of people!
