Happy Halloween!!!!

We were so worried that our Halloween was going to be a washout which was going to break our hearts because the girls have been so excited about their costumes and going trick-or-treating.  Luckily, the rain let up just in time to go to our neighborhood's trunk-or-treat and held off for us to go to dinner before trick-or-treating at a few houses.  Nothing brings much more happiness than seeing your kids having the time of their lives!!

I love this picture of my sweet Elsas!  Maybe next year we can move on from the Frozen obsession!

It took us awhile to figure out why Emerson was so quiet and not her usual self...she thought trunk-or-treat was replacing going trick-or-treating.  When we told her we could do both, the excitement returned!

Braelyn was all of a sudden completely on board for trying a game when she realized that was the only way to get the noisemaker that Emerson had gotten!

So glad we got the noisemaker at the bowling game...they both blew them the entire way to the car!

They wasted no time checking out their loot!

Just in case we hadn't gotten quite enough sugar from trick-or-treating, we finished the night off with pumpkin cookies!

FKA Parade

Braelyn was so excited that it was FINALLY time to wear her new Elsa costume.  I was anxious to see if she was going to want the wig again this year.  She didn't even mention because she is so excited that her hair is finally long enough to have her own braid!  She was so cute in her parade and couldn't wait for the fall festival that they were going to be having after the parade.  We love First Kids Academy!!!

So cute I can hardly stand it!  Em's class doesn't do anything for Halloween...she is finishing up Drug Awareness Week wearing a red shirt.

Fall Fun With Friends

We decided that what we did last year of inviting friends over for "fall fun" should become a tradition!  We had Emmeline, Annabelle, and Sofia over to decorate pumpkins and cupcakes.  The girls had so much fun!!!

What pumpkin would be complete without jewels?!

Minutes before everyone arrived, B decided that her ballerina leotard was the perfect outfit for a playdate!

Emerson and Sofia were both in Ms. Krakow's class last year and are together again with Mrs. Coogler!

It's Pumpkin Time!!!

We have struggled this year getting our pumpkin to carve!  Last weekend Braelyn was sick and this weekend it has been pouring down rain.  We finally decided the pumpkin patch was probably not going to happen this year so we headed to HEB to find our perfect pumpkin.  Unfortunately, HEB did not have any big pumpkins so each girl picked out a little one.  It turned out perfect because there was no arguing over who was going to draw the face on the big one!

The pumpkin carving master-believe me he has his work cut out for him with the designs the girls draw!

Ew!  Gross!  It's slimey!

It is a shame that nobody had any fun!
