Happy Easter!!!

The family fun weekend continued on Easter Sunday.  When the girls got up we quickly got ready for church so they would have time to go through their baskets before we left.  The children's ministry usually does an egg hunt for the kids after class but I liked what they did this year so much better.  They had stations set up in the education building for families to go through together for the kids to learn more about the true meaning of Easter.  They started in a room decorated like the tomb to hear a story about Easter, they made Resurrection eggs at another station so that they could learn to tell others the story of Jesus and then at another station learned about the Lord's Supper.  After church, we had lunch, a nap, and then it was egg huntin' time!!!

Our sweet little Easter princesses

Braelyn showing Daddy her bunny cookie.

Braelyn Faith-2 months shy of 3 years old!

Emerson Leigh-5 years old

Waiting on instructions for their Resurrection Eggs.

So proud of her finished product!

Em's face is priceless!  After tasting the white grape juice, she said: "Mom, can I have apple juice?".  When I told her that was it, she said:  "Do they have water?!"  Not sure we got the full message about The Lord's Supper!

B said she would sit with the Easter bunny with her sister.  That didn't happen and Em wasn't even too sure about him this year!

I, of course, had to get more pictures when we got back home!

They both looked absolutely precious in their dresses!

Let's find some eggs!!!!

Emerson was so sweet putting some eggs in her sister's basket since she was a little slower finding them!

B got off to a slow start because she had to see what was in each one before putting it in her basket!

Emerson had a basketful in the blink of an eye!

I am not sure what I did to get this look!

Just kidding Mom!

Time to see what they got!

Time to try out her "Pig Popper" from her Easter basket.

Braelyn got a "Puppy Popper"

They shoot little foam balls out of their mouths-up to 20 feet!!!  They were actually a lot of fun!

I asked B to show me her puppy and right as I bent over for the picture, she shot it right at my face!

Emerson thought it was just as funny to shoot Momma!
