I got Emerson's 2 year pictures back today and they are AMAZING!!! I had to post them all because they were too precious not to share. We are so blessed to have found our photographer! The pics with the black and pink headband were taken for a friend of Jen's who made the headbands. She is starting to sell them and needed some pics for her website. Hope you enjoy these as much as I did!

"Egg"cellent Easter
We had a great Easter weekend. GranSan came in town on Friday and was here by the time we got up! While Shawn went and played golf with some friends we got in a little shopping and then just came back home for some relaxing. On Saturday, we had a lazy morning and then our church sponsors a community outreach event called Eggapalooza. We didn't go last year so we really didn't know what to expect but it was quite a production. They had face painting, food booths, rides, inflatables, a train, egg hunts, karaoke and the Easter bunny. It was so much fun but SO hot because it was from 2-4 in the afternoon. We came home from that and played in the back yard after it cooled down a bit. Sunday morning we headed to church and then came home for lasagna. Get ready for a lot of pictures because between GranSan and Mommy we got a little carried away and I couldn't choose!
Opening her Easter goodies from Grandma and Papa!
It looks like she likes her new Crocs!
Eggapalooza was a packed event, we had quite a trek just to get there.
Ready to hunt some eggs!
She wasn't too sure about having her face painted!
She let her paint a bunny but needless to say it didn't stay more than 5 minutes!
Yummy cotton candy!
This is great...a balloon too?! What else?!
Final instructions from Daddy before the egg hunt began.
GranSan, is it time to get the eggs yet?!
She was smart in her strategy-she didn't stop at the first eggs, she ran to the back where she had them all to herself!
I am pretty sure we cheated a little bit and got more than the 15 we were supposed to!
High 5!
Are there any more eggs over on that side?
Mommy and Em on the train
She actually sat with the Easter Bunny! Shocking after the Santa experience! Too cute!
Needed a lift from Daddy back to the car after all the excitement.
Checking in on her new fish from GranSan.
Raiding the candy in the eggs with GranSan
Em put GranSan through quite a workout even after Eggapalooza!
GranSan suggested that someday they could spend the night in the fort-Em thought then was as good a time as any!
Checking out her loot from the Easter Bunny
Reading her Veggie Tales book with Mrs. Potato Head
Easter morning with GranSan

Blessing of a Different Kind
Our new washer and dryer was delivered this morning!!! Maybe it means I am getting old but I am beyond excited about this! I have already done 3 loads and it is great! Not only did we get the washer and dryer but Shawn put in a new shelving system to give us a lot more much needed storage. This is all perfect timing as I have a feeling the laundry is about to multiply on us!
Thank you Shawn for my awesome new laundry room!
