Surprise!!

The girls have been working so hard the first couple months of the school year and are doing amazing not just with grades but their behavior as well so we decided to surprise them with a weekend getaway.  We didn't tell them where we were going and they didn't have a clue until we pulled into the parking lot of Great Wolf Lodge!  The place is amazing and I think Shawn and I had just about as much fun as the girls!  We were able to check in and hit the water park as soon as we arrived on Saturday and played hard all the way to dinner time.  The night was rounded out with a trip to the ice cream shop for HUGE sundaes and then the girls and I headed down to story time before bed.  We got up the next morning, hit the breakfast buffet, and had a couple hours left to spend in the waterpark.  Emerson rode the biggest of the slides with Daddy and I was so proud that Braelyn got brave and rode quite a few of the bigger ones with me too.  One that we all four did together about did her in but then we did what she and Em called the toilet bowl and she was back good again!  Before we headed out we spent some time letting them do more levels of the MagiQuest game they had started the night before.

Doing their best wolf impersonations with their wolf ears.

Daddy and his princesses ready to get the party started.

This is going to be so much fun!!!!!

B and I stayed together the majority of the time...not quite the thrillseekers that Daddy and Sissy are!

B spent some time on the kiddie slides working up her confidence for the bigger ones!

Em was hard to catch to even get a picture!  She was all over the place!

She figured out the origami hat with her menu at dinner.

I almost think they had more fun with the Magiquest than at the pool...go figure!  Magi Em and...

Magi Brae Brae...They picked their own Magi names!

In our jammies down in the lobby for story time.  I just want to bottle these times up and never forget a second of them!

Em was not too convinced she wanted to take this picture!

Heading off to the room to rest up for another big day tomorrow!
