Happy Halloween!

The girls were so excited about trick-or-treating this year, especially because Gransan was here to join us.  It was definitely NOT the most ideal trick-or-treating weather...it poured down rain!  Daddy drove us from house to house but me, Gransan, and the girls were absolutely soaked from just walking to and from the truck.  It did not ruin anything as far as the girls were concerned!  Their smiles were still huge and the giggles were still coming!

Evie had to have blue!  Daddy wasn't too happy with either after they had been in the rain and got in his truck.  It smelled terrible!

Pumpkin Carvin' Time

Fall Fun 2017

Keeping with tradition, we hosted a fall fun playdate before Halloween.  It seems to grow every year and this year was definitely more of an undertaking!  More kids, more activities, more fun!  We decorated masks, played games outside, and enjoyed some yummy snacks.  It had been my original plan to keep everything outside but unfortunately it rained most of the day so I had to move the tables inside.  Surprisingly the house was not in too bad of shape!

Boosterthon

The girls absolutely love Snyder's annual Boosterthon Fun Run.  I love that they do a fun run as their big fundraiser instead of having to go out and sell anything.  The whole week is full of fun activities to get the kids pumped up for the run.  This year, they got a little more than a week of fun in because the run had to be bumped from Friday to Monday because of weather.  They both did great...Braelyn actually passed her sister this year on their lap totals.  Em was not really caring to run so much this year and Braelyn ran her little heart out the whole time!

Silly Hair Day

I had been gone to a meeting all week and got in late last night so I didn't have a chance to buy any supplies for Crazy Hair Day so we had to make do with what we had!  This time it was just Em's class, not the whole school and she knew exactly what she wanted me to do.  She had told me before that on the next crazy hair day she wanted to do a soccer theme.  She was so understanding that I didn't have a chance to shop so she didn't miss a beat coming up with another idea and luckily I was able to pull it off!
