As I mentioned before, this was the girls first year in children's choir at church. I was so proud of Emerson for conquering her fear and auditioning for a speaking part. She was one of only two 2nd graders in her audition group, all the other kids were much older and she was the only one that had memorized the part she wanted! She didn't get the part she wanted since they reserve most of the speaking parts for 6th graders since it is their last year, but she did get chosen to be one of the dancers. That meant she got to wear a costume which was very exciting for her! It was quite a production and she did an amazing job!
