Time with Daddy

The girls are so blessed to have such an amazing Dad.  While Braelyn was celebrating at Coda's party, Emerson got some special one on one time with Daddy.  Daddy never disappoints when it comes to Daddy/Daughter dates and today was no exception.  He took her to the park in the neighborhood and they rowed a boat across the lake and just spent time talking and laughing together.  Let's just say one little girl was in heaven!  These are times that she will remember for a lifetime.

Happy Birthday Coda!

Braelyn was invited to Coda's birthday party and of course HAD to go!  She adores Coda and was super excited about helping him celebrate.  Coda is a die hard Star Wars fan and Amber went all out with the theme.  The kids had a blast!  Braelyn wasn't quite sure what to think about all of the boys fighting with "light sabers" when we first arrived but in no time was in on the action!

Go Texan Day!

Every year to kick of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the city has Go Texan Day!  We don't exactly have cowboy boots or hats so I had to do the best I could!  I would say our little Texans looked adorable!  Braelyn's school had a chili cookoff and did rodeo themed relays that were so cute!  Braelyn's class won 2nd place in the cookoff!

We finished off Go Texan Day with dinner at Bernie's Backyard...a new food truck park.

Crawfish Season

You could have never made me believe in a million years that the girls would like crawfish!  Not only do they like it, Emerson will even peel her own!!!

Braelyn gives peeling her best shot but if she had to do them all, she would just as soon starve!

Fun with Friends

This year we had Em's friend party at her new gymnastics place, World Champions Centre.  It was SO much fun!  She was so excited that her coach, Coach Kerine, signed up to work her party.  She made sure the day was all about Emerson.  While all the girls were down in the gym playing, we all got to sit up and watch from the second floor.  It was a perfect day!
