Family Fun Day

Daddy found a cool place in Houston where we thought we could do bumper boats so we headed out for a day of family fun.  We started out with Mexican food at a new restaurant we hadn't tried before-we all voted that we wouldn't try it again either!  Unfortunately when we got to the place for bumper boats, the only attraction not available was the bumper boats but we had fun playing mini golf, riding go carts, and playing in the arcade!  It was SO hot out, of course in July, but thankfully there were enough spots around the mini golf courses that we survived.  We were able to head inside to grab some drinks before we went out to wait for the go carts.

Cute Little Bakers

I got a new cookbook with some healthier versions of our favorite sweet treats.  I thought the girls might be more likely to try them if they got to do the cooking!  They are always so cute when we bake!  Unfortunately, my new treats are going to require another practice round!  I think I used the wrong type of flour and then even burned them on the bottom!  Oh well, we all still had fun!

Cousin Fun

We were so excited Jeremy, Kristi, and the boys got to come for a visit this summer.  The guys all went to an Astros game while we had a fun girls night out at the mall and Mi Rancho.  Of course there was plenty of fun by the pool too!

No Sugar Bugs!

Why can't going to the dentist be as fun when you're an adult as when you are a kid?!?!  The girls' dentist office just recently had a new dentist come on board and this visit they even had personalized artwork on their little bibs that they put around you!  I am so glad it is not something that they dread doing and so proud that we are still members of the No Sugar Bug Club!

It's Micky Time!

One of our favorite date nights is always Micky and the Motorcars at the Dosey Doe.  We try to go any time they pop up on the schedule.  I am so thankful that after all this time, we still make date night a priority and we still have just as much fun, if not more, than we did nearly 19 years ago!

Perfect Summer Day

We have not had one single regret about putting in the pool.  I feel like we have spent so much more quality time together just the 4 of us than before we had it.  Some of our most favorite times are days spent in our swim suits, with the music cranked up, cooking out, and just playing.  I love seeing these sweet girls enjoying every second of just being home sweet home!

Happy Birthday America!

This 4th of July, we just spent time on the patio together enjoying some fun in the pool.  We thought about going back to Valley Ranch again this year to watch fireworks but decided a front row seat, watching from the pool sounded even better!  No crowds to fight or struggling to see the action because of trees or buildings.  It was PERFECT!
