We were so proud of Emerson for being recognized for her sweet, caring heart with another Superstar Stallion award. We have always encouraged them to go well in school, which they do, but recognitions for their character mean even more.

4th Grade Choir Concert
The 4th grade choir got to perform at Grand Oaks and did a great job! It was a little chaotic with how early they had to arrive and they were all beyond excited about being at the high school. Once the show started though, they did a great job!

Family Fun Run
We always look for ways to keep the girls active and to spend time together. The Woodlands Marathon hosts a 2k family fun run so we were in! We were so proud of how the girls did. Both of them ran the entire thing! At the end, they said they were ready to train for a 5k!
We got to choose the names on our bibs so here is BraeBrae, Brooksy, and M&M4! |
So fun that they are old enough for us to do these kind of things together. |
All ready to go at the start line |
Let's do this! |
Em and Daddy stuck together... |
and Miss B was my running buddy! |
Got our medals and ready for the next challenge! |

Lunch With My Girls
I love any chance I get to have lunch with my sweet girls. Since I was coming to bring birthday cupcakes for Em and her class, I definitely wanted to have lunch with sweet B too. I want to soak up every moment I can of doing this because I know all too well my days are numbered before they are too old to want Mom visiting at school!
She ALWAYS brings a smile to my face! |
Sweet Sofia and Aniyah used their "eat lunch with a friend" passes to celebrate Em's birthday with her! What sweet friends! |
Her favorite color is blue so blue swirled cupcakes it was! |

Happy 10th Sweet Em!
For Emerson's 10th, she wanted to have her first ever sleepover. There was no one we would have wanted to have that first with more than Miss Sofia! We had so much fun! We picked her up a little while after school and headed to Sk8 Town for some fun and then back to the house for sleepover fun. After Daddy's pancakes and a dip in the pool that Daddy heated, Mrs. Angie was dying to have her sweet girl back!
She had to open her gift as soon as Sofia got in the truck! |
It was a beautiful Kendra Scott necklace! |
So thankful Em has this sweet friend in her life! |
Love that smile! |
Of course little sis had to get in on the action! |
The best of friends! |
Pizza and cake-sounds like a party to me! |
For our ice cream lover, Cookie Jar Chaos from Marble Slab-YUM!! |
Making rubberband bracelets. |
Daddy and I were shocked that they actually went to sleep rather than keeping us up giggling all night! |
Daddy's pancakes were gone in an blink! |
