We love report card time around the Brooks house!  Both girls got awesome ones again for the 2nd 9 weeks so it is reward time!  This time it was off to Incredible Pizza for lots of fun!

Braelyn and I shared a go-kart.  Daddy and Em each drove their own and unfortunately both beat us!

We Love Vacation!

After Christmas we were able to enjoy a whole week together at home and got in plenty of relaxing but mixed in plenty of fun too!  We had a family outing to the golf course, a trip to downtown for pizza and exploring, and even took in Sing at the drive-in.  We don't want it all to end!!!!

The girls' favorite part of the golf outing was driving the cart.  Em drove Daddy and B drove me...I only saw my life flash before my life once!!

Braelyn did great but at the 8th hole asked:  "When can we go to the kids' section??"

At a local park after eating at Frank's Pizza.  They of course had to throw pennies in the fountain to make a wish.

We got out to the drive-in really early expecting it to be packed.  We got a front row spot and they had lots of time to play on the playground.

Tooth Fairy Jackpot

Poor Em managed to get my problems when it comes to her teeth.  The child has absolutely no room in her mouth.  Today the dentist started working on fixing that problem...she had to have 3 teeth pulled!!  I was so worried that she was going to be so scared.  When I told her where we were going, she couldn't get there fast enough!  Not scared at all and never even flinched through the whole thing!  She never ceases to amaze me!  When the bleeding stopped we headed to McAlister's for her favorite broccoli cheddar soup and topped it off with ice cream!  The tooth fairy was very good to her too since it was 3 at once and a little more traumatic in HOW they came out!

We always love New Year's!  The girls have been pretty put out that our neighborhood doesn't allow fireworks but we still had to sneak and at least do sparklers and the little poppers! 

The sparklers were longer than Miss B is tall!

Yes, this is the child who freaks out at the sight of a gnat and she is holding a frog!  She has no problem picking up frogs or lizards!
