Surprise!!

 For Emerson's birthday, she wanted me to surprise her with a "big girl" room makeover.  I was shocked because she has always been completely against change when it came to her room but she decided that at 10, it was time to get rid of the frilly pinks and purples and have a room that fit more of her current likes.  I had so much fun doing it for her.  It took quite a while and she wasn't allowed to see anything other than getting to pick her paint color.  She has been moved into the guest bedroom anxiously awaiting seeing the finished product.  Since she is having a sleepover with Sofia to celebrate this weekend, we decided to have the big reveal a little early so that she could have a couple of nights in the new room before showing it off to Sofia.  I could not wait to see her reaction...it was PRICELESS!!  Braelyn couldn't wait to give her a gift too so it was a fun early birthday celebration!

Braces OFF!

 Emerson's one request throughout having her braces was that she could get them off before her birthday.  The orthodontist said that wouldn't be a problem so today was the big day!  We couldn't wait to see that pretty smile again!

Braelyn's 2nd Grade Program

 I love the kids' school programs!  It drives me crazy that I can't see their every move perfectly because Snyder has such amazing parent involvement that it is absolutely packed every time, but the parts I can see, I love every second of seeing their sweet faces!  B did great as a cute little crayon!

Lots of Love

 We are so blessed to have such great friends that we like to celebrate holidays with.  The Collins invited us over to spread the love with some Valentine's Day fun.  Angie planned a fun craft and some cookie decorating for the kids to have fun making.  She was way more brave than I could ever be-she let them decorate with glitter!!!  She may find glitter for years to come!!

Her craft was perfect-they are all supposed to take a decorated box to school on Valentine's Day to collect all their goodies.

1st Science Project

 Emerson had to complete her first ever science project this year.  I couldn't have been more proud of her.  She came up with the experiment on her own and conducted the whole thing ON HER OWN.  I helped a little bit with how to lay it out on the project board, only because she had never done it and wasn't quite sure how to but she can take full credit for a totally awesome project about magnetism!

She did such a great job explaining her project to all the parents who came to the fair.

Daddy/Daughter Dance 2019

 Here we are at my favorite night of the year, even though I don't participate!  The Daddy/Daughter Dance is such a sweet night for the girls to make special memories with their amazing Daddy.  I love seeing them get so excited about looking just perfect for their special date.
